Counseling Philosophy

We believe every person is a unique make up of mind, body, and soul; and that the most effective counseling addresses all three.  We work to partner with clients to find the best ways to improve each area of difficulty or struggle they face. We understand that every client's situation is different and hope to tailor a specific treatment plan to help. The gospel of Jesus Christ and our Biblical worldview informs every area of our perspective in life and counseling. Our primary hope for every client in therapy is to make progress towards becoming more happy, healthy, and balanced in their life.

Methodology

Our hope is to provide quality and helpful counseling to every client.  To accomplish that, we use an eclectic style of psychotherapeutic interventions drawing from Adlerian Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Therapeutic Fitness, and Biblical Counseling. Depending on the client's specific situation and preferences, different amounts of these influences may be implemented in the treatment plan.  We love to be creative in our counseling approach, always continuing to learn and evolve to help our clients as best we can.

We urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
— 1 Thessalonians 5:14 (NIV)
